The Pearl River Community Christmas Creche Committee presented the ninth annual Procession of Children Sunday in Braunsdorf Park.
The statue is placed in the manger scene by a child or children, often in the memory of lost loved ones. This year, it was presented by Lilly, Owen and Shane Lennon, the godchildren of Mark Lennon, in his name and that of Lindsey Stewart. Lennon and Stewart were both killed in a boat crash on the Hudson River in July.
