Hi-Tor's Pet of the Week: Bella

A two-year old Terrier mix, Bella has a tan coat, a white chest and totally gentle, light brown eyes that look adoringly at anyone near her. She has a wrinkled brow that makes her appear worried. Looks are deceiving because she is a happy girl. Abandoned in Bear Mountain State Park, she roamed around the park seeking her owner. After several days, an animal control officer was able to capture her with a Havahart® crate. After arriving at the shelter hungry cold and tired, she relaxed immediately and enjoyed the attention and food she received. She is super friendly, loves a nice pet and tickle and, not sure she will eat again, devours her food. Although she has a hearty appetite, she is not at all possessive of her treats or food. Bella enjoys the company of other dogs but is no fan of cats. She could go to a first-time dog owner because of her sweet and gentle nature.

Come and meet this charming and friendly dog. She will lick your face and steal your heart on your first meeting. For additional information, please contact Hi-Tor Animal Care Center, 65 Fireman’s Memorial Drive, Pomona, NY (845-354-7900).
