Maureen F. Howe, of Pearl River, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on July 19, 2014 at the age of 58.
She was born in the Bronx, NY on December 19, 1955 to Mary Barton and Denis Meehan. Her family moved to Pearl River in 1960. Maureen is survived by her husband Andrew Howe and their daughters Shannon and Kaleigh. Maureen is also survived by her mother Mary Barton, her sister Patti Ann Roth and their children. She is also survived by her Godson Billy Koller and numerous friends and extended family. She was predeceased by her father Denis J. and her brother Denis G. Meehan.
Maureen was a life member of the ladies auxiliary of the Pearl River Hook and Ladder.
Calling hours are Wednesday, July 23 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home, 728 West Nyack Rd., in West Nyack. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 24 at St. Aedan's Church in Pearl River.
