Longtime Nanuet resident John (Sean) O'Grady, 69, passed away March 29 at the Joe Raso Hospice Residence in New City.
O'Grady, a retired carpenter who was born in Ireland, was a parishioner at St. Aedan's Chruch in Pearl River.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home in Pearl River. The funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Aedan's, with the burial at Ascension Cemetary at 650 Saddle River Road in Airmont.

There wil be a gathering at the Irish Amnerican Cultural Center in Blauvelt after the burial.
In place of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Association Hudson Valley Chapter at 301 North Main Street, Suite 7 in New City or the Joe Raso Hospice Home at 415 Buena Vista Road in New City.

O'Grady is survived by his wife, Catherine, son Darren O'Grady of Bennington, VT, daughter Michelle Worob and her husband Jason of Pearl River, daughter Siobhan O'Grady of Nanuet and grandhcildren Madelyn and Shayne Worob.
