I am kind of upset at the headline of this. It is not very respectful at all and this is my father in law. It just shows his name and age in bold letters and no other words? I am shaking my head in disbelief.

I am sadden to hear of your late father's passing. May you rest easy knowing his soul is now at peace. Just a piece of advice in the future, when a family member passes it is the responsibility of the family to write the obituary and send it out to the proper outlets to advise friends and family. It is not the responsibility of the editor or members of the patch to do this for you.

My husband made the proper obituary notice Casey. Poor editing.

We also didn't ask The Patch to do this for us.
