John Joseph Coyle, Sr., 84, of Jupiter, FL, 50 year resident of Pearl River, NY, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014.
Beloved husband of Eileen Heffernan Coyle. Devoted father of Mary Farrell (Dennis), John Coyle Jr (Theresa), Colleen Murray (Kevin), Gary Coyle (Terri), and Karen Paletta (Perry). Grandfather of Melissa McDonagh (Peter), Marie, John III, Cassi, Elizabeth, and Meghan Coyle, Janet and Kevin Murray, Christopher, Samantha, and Michael Coyle, and Skylar, Nickolas, and Sienna Paletta. Great grandfather of Colin, River and Fion McDonagh.
Jack served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Before retiring, Jack worked for Texaco Oil as a Sales Executive for 43 years.
He was an active member in the Pearl River little league, pop warner football, A.o.h. , Pearl River Elks, and Pearl River America Legion.
Jack loved vacationing in Sea Isle City NJ, and was an avid fan of the New York Giants and Yankees. T
he family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Monday, March 31 from 2-4 and 7-9PM. The Funeral Mass celebrating Jack's life and faith will be held at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, 895 Piermont Avenue, Piermont, NY on Tuesday, April 1 at 11AM.
Charitable donations can be made in Jack's name to the VA Hospital Association.
