Visiting Hours are Feb. 14 for William Traynor

William R. Traynor, a resident of Blauvelt since 1958, passed away peacefully at home on February 11, 2014 surrounded by his family. 

He was born in New York City on March 9, 1935. Will served in the US Army Reserves for six years. Before retiring in 1996, he was a repairman for NY Telephone for 30 years and worked with his sons at Traynor’s Plumbing and Heating for 10 years. 

Will enjoyed playing golf twice weekly with his golfing buddies, gardening and the company of his grandchildren.

Will is survived by his wife Martha; his children Pamela Michaelsen (Craig Salvatore), Gary (Debra), Richard (Deborah); his grandchildren, Ashley, Cassandra, Georgia, Liam, Shannon, and Kieran; and his sister Virginia Michalek. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Will was predeceased by his grandson Gregory and his parents, William J. and Josephine.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, 10am at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Pearl River with burial to follow at Rockland Cemetery.

 Visiting hours will be Friday, 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Moritz Funeral Home in Tappan.
