Noted soccer guru and author Horst Wein has flown in from Germany to present a three day series of seminars for local soccer coaches. Coach Wein is known as the "Coach of Coaches." His methods are built around the kids and how they naturally learn.
In Coach Wein’s development model. the difficulty and complexity of the simplified small-sided game activities are increased to match the natural physical and intellectual development of the players. Coach Wein believes it’s important to provide players with variety (something new every 15 minutes) and incorporate competitions and multi-lateral games into their training to improve co-ordination. Coach Wein has published several widely read and accepted coaches manual including “Developing Game intelligence in Soccer” and “Developing Youth Soccer Players” and has made presentations to thousands of coaches.
The three day series of seminars are being hosted by OMM/ World Class Soccer F.C. Club and will be held at the soccer complex. All of the World Class Soccer travel coaches will be attending the seminars and all of OMM Soccer’s recreational coaches have also been invited to attend.
