EMERGENCY COAT DRIVE
United Way of Rockland to host EMERGENCY COAT DRIVE
Nyack, NY Jan. 10, 2014 – United Way of Rockland County is coordinating an EMERGENCY COAT Drive at several locations throughout Rockland County due to the colder than average temperatures and the hazardous winter conditions that have struck our area. From January 13th – January 24th 2014 the UWRC will have drop off points for NEW COATS for children and teens. (A complete list of locations is listed below).
United Way is reminding Rockland residents that this is not only one of the most difficult winter climates in years, but it is also still a tough economic climate as well. Many Rockland residents continue to struggle financially. In light of these difficult times the United Way is calling for those who are able to purchase a new coat to be donated or make a monetary donation to help out with this emergency coat drive. (Monetary donations should be made by check, payable to United Way of Rockland County).
