Interfaith Progressive Dinner

On Sunday, March 9, 2014, seven local churches joined together for an Interfaith Progressive Dinner.  The event began at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, where in conjunction with Beth Am Temple, appetizers were served; and Rabbi Dan Pernick led an informative mingling activity.  The group of more than 80 people then went to St. Stephens Episcopal Church.  St. Stephens and Naurashaun Church collaborated to provide the main course.  Dessert was hosted by Sts. Constantine & Helen with help from Pearl River United Methodist Church.  The food was delicious, and the opportunity to meet new people and learn about other faiths provided a wonderful evening for all involved.  In addition, the free will offering generated over $800 and was given as a donation to Helping Hands Ministry of Rockland County.
