Need a place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, enjoy traditional Irish food and drink? This week, Patch asked our readers where their favorite go-to spot is for an Irish celebration.
And the winner is: Fleming's Place
Now, on top of checking out an exciting parade and enjoying Irish soda bread, you can also stop by Fleming's Place to see for yourself why they won Readers Choice this week. The day is meant to celebrate Saint Patrick, the most commonly recognized of the patron saints of Ireland and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland. It is considered the largest Saint's day celebration in the world.
Receiving 12 out of the 52 votes in the contest, the place is the place to go this weekend, whether you go dressed in green to celebrate your Irish heritage, or to pretend "to be Irish for a day" on St. Pat's. TF Noonan’s came in a very close second.
Fleming's Place has been around since 1986. It has darts, pool and a jukebox, making it a fun night spot for locals.
Check back next week for a new Readers' Choice on Patch.
