Bellew, Houston Win Dream Wedding Contest
Pearl River natives Eileen Bellew and Kevin Houston found one another after losing their spouses. Monday they came on the "Live! with Kelly" show as the winners of Live's Hawaiian Dream Wedding Giveaway
Last week, the Live! with Kelly television show shared the story of Pearl River natives Eileen Bellew and Kevin Houston with its national audience.
They were among five finalists in the show's Hawaiian Dream Wedding Giveaway, with the winners selected by online voting from Friday through Sunday.
Houston and Bellew won the contest and with it the grand prize -- a destination wedding with 30 guests at the Aulani Disney Resort and Spa on Ohah Feb. 20.

Houston and Bellew appeared on the show live after the announcement.
"We have large families to kind of sort through," Houston said on the air. There are a ton of peole we’d like to bring with us.

"We appreciate all the viewers who voted on or behalf. It’s just a tremendous feeling."
Today is the anniversary of the death of Eileen's husband John Bellew. Houston's wife of 21 years, Elizabeth, passed away in January of 2009 after a long battle with the autoimmune disease Scleroderma.
The contest caught the imagination of Pearl River residents. Nearly 600 took part in a Pearl River Patch Poll regarding the voting.
