Blauvelt Woman Dies From Injuries Sustained in Crash
Orangetown Police are completing their investigation of a one-car accident in Orangeburg last week that claimed the life of 86-year-old Barbara Braun of Blauvelt.
Blauvelt resident Barbara W. Braun, 86, passed away from injuries sustained in in a one-car accident April 11.
According to Orangetown Police, Braun was a passenger in a car driven by her husband, 87-year-old Oscar Braun, that crashed into a utility pole on Parkway Drive in Orangeburg. The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
Barbara Braun died April 15 at Nyack Hospital. Braun was a founding member of the Rockland County Catholic Coalition. She was at St. Anthony's Cemetary in Nanuet Monday.
