Fire Departments from Throughout Rockland Join in Orangeburg Holiday Parade Tonight

Volunteers go bring holiday cheer to neighborhood streets.

There will be lots of flashing lights and sirens tonight in Orangeburg for the annual Holiday Parade.

The Orangeburg Volunteer Fire Association is hosting fire departments from throughout Rockland County for the parade, which volunteer firefighters say is fast-becoming a great tradition for the neighborhood.

Firefighters will be dressing up their trucks in hopes of winning one of the parade trophies. And, of course, Santa Claus is expected to pay a visit.

The parade kicks off at 5:30 p.m. One of the best spots to watch the parade is on Lester Drive in Orangeburg.
