Tanisha Joyner, one of the four women accused of conspiracy in the slaying of Peggy Nadell, has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge, according to The Journal News.

The plea was May 30, the paper said.

That was three days after she was arraigned—the first of the four extradited from Florida and Washington, DC.

Nadell was stabbed to death in her Valley Cottage home in January. Police announced the arrests—including Nadell's daughter-in-law Diana—May 21.

Joyner, 26, had been charged with second-degree conspiracy to commit murder. She pleaded guilty to first-degree hindering prosecution, said reporter Steve Lieberman on lohud.com.

The paper cites Clarkstown police criminal complaints that allege Joyner's role in the conspiracy was giving Diana Nadell an alibi.

The attorney for Peggy Nadell's daughter, Susanne Nadell-Scaccio, told Lieberman that cooperation with the prosecution might be the reason for Joyner's plea.

I hope the DA does not blow this one the way they completely botched the Brian Miele case in which they look completely incompetent.

What unsavory characters they "all" are. I wonder why a psychologist with a kind brilliant selfless mother would marry this killer.
