N.J. Man Charged With DWI After Route 303 Crash
Orangetown police: Driver also charged with possession of marijuana.
A 21-year-old New Jersey man is charged with drunken driving and marijuana possession after being involved with an auto accident on Route 303 in Tappan early Saturday morning, according to .
Sean Canty of 634 Montview Place, Rivervale, NJ, was arrested after a 5:30 a.m. crash at the intersection of Oak Tree Road and Route 303. During the investigation, police said Canty was found to be intoxicated and was charged with driving while intoxicated. Police said marijuana was also found in the car and Canty was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
Canty was released on $200 bail pending a hearing in Orangetown Town Court.
