O&R Truck Hits Teen Pedestrian

Ramapo Police are investigating an accident in which an Orange & Rockland truck struck a 15-year-old female student from Suffern High School Thursday afternoon. 

The student was running along Grandview Ave. with a group as part of a cross country practice. The truck, which was heading south on Route 306, struck her at the intersection of Grandview and 306. The student suffered a lower leg fracture. She was treated by Spring Hill Ambulance and Rockland Paramedics and taken to Westchester Medical Center to be evaluated.

No traffic summonses were issued Thursday in relation to the incident.
