Police Blotter: Incidents in Rockland County

N.J. man picked up from a N.J. jail for robbery charge in Rockland.

Robbery charge

A North Bergen, NJ, man was brought back to New York from a jail in New Jersey to face a robbery charge in Rockland County, according to the Rockland Sheriff's Department.

Nester Pachon, 25, was being held on a separate charge in the Somerset County Jail in Somerville, NJ. He was picked up by Rockland Sheriff's detectives on Nov. 8 and brought to the Rockland County Correctional Facility in New City.

Pachon is being held pending a Rockland County Court hearing in New City.

Family Court warrant

Anthony Stephens, 42, of the Bronx, was arrested Tuesday in Clarkstown on a Rockland County Family Court warrant, according to the Rockland Sheriff's Department.

Stephens is accused of violating a Family Court order and owing a private party $23,762.09 and owing the Rockland County Department of Social Services $7,392.21.

He was arraigned in Family Court in New City and released pending a Nov. 20 hearing.

Drug charge

Douglas Gotay, 42, of Garnerville, was arrested Tuesday in Riverhead, NY, on a Rockland County drug warrant, according to the Rockland Sheriff's Department.

Gotay was being held in the Suffolk County Jail on a separate charge when he was picked up by Rockland Sheriff's detectives and brought back to Rockland to face charges of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

He is being held pending a Rockland County Court hearing in New City.

Family Court warrants

Nick Girault, 34, of Nanuet, was arrested Nov. 9 in Clarkstown on a Rockland County Family Court warrant related to support proceedings, according to the Rockland Sheriff's Department.

Girault is accused of violating a court order and owing $4,860.46 to the Rockland County Department of Social Services.

He was released pending a Dec. 10 Family Court hearing in New City.

- Latoya Morris, 32, of Nyack, was arrested Nov. 8 in New City on a Rockland County Family Court warrant related to support proceedings, according to the Rockland Sheriff's Department.

Morris is accused of violating a court order and owing $4,657.02 to the Rockland County Department of Social Services. She was released pending a Dec. 10 hearing in Family Court in New City.

- Yisucher Kohn, 43, of Spring Valley, was arrested Nov. 9 in Clarkstown on a Rockland County Family Court warrant related to support proceedings, according to the Rockland Sheriff's Department.

Kohn is accused of violating a court order and owing $1,176.81 to the Rockland County Department of Social Services. He was released pending a hearing in Family Court in New City.

- Brian Jackson, 28, of Haverstraw, was arrested Nov. 9 in Clarkstown on a Rockland County Family Court warrant related to support proceedings, according to the Rockland Sheriff's Department.

Morris is accused of violating a court order and owing $2,870.15 to a private party and $1,185.60 to the Rockland County Department of Social Services. He was released pending a Jan. 9 hearing in Family Court in New City.

Robbery charge

Mathew Peters, 32, of Spring Valley, was arrested Nov. 9 in the Bronx on a Rockland County Court warrant accusing him of second-degree robbery, according to the Rockland Sheriff's Department.

Peters was ordered held in the Rockland County Correctional Facility in New City pending a hearing.
