Police: Driver's Medical Condition Apparent Cause of Overturned Car at McDonald's

The 70-year-old woman driving the vehicle was taken to Nyack Hospital after the accident at the McDonald's in Nanuet Wednesday afternoon.

According to Clarkstown Police, "some sort of medical condition" caused a 70-year-old female driver to run her 2008 Hyundai onto a curb and then into a post at the corner of the McDonald's building in Nanuet at approximately 1:55 p.m. Wednesday.

The one-car accident left the vehicle turned over onto its passenger side. The woman's injuries were not considered serious, but she was taken to Nyack Hospital for treatment. A four-year-old child who was a passenger in the vehicle was not injured.
