Home burglary: Christopher Williams of Garnerville and Luis Cedeno of Pomona were indicted May 14 by a Rockland County Grand Jury for the crimes of Burglary in the 1st Degree and Assault in the 2nd Degree.
District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe said on April 28, 2014, the defendants broke into a residence in Jones Point, NY. The defendants were found in the home by the homeowners and Cedena hurt one of them. Jewelry was stolen.
Assault: Mario Mena, 23, of Nyack, was indicted on May 14, 2014 by a Rockland County Grand Jury for the crime of Assault in the 2nd Degree.
District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe said that on Sept. 28, 2013 at about 1:30 am, Mena punched someone twice in the jaw during an argument outside a pizza establishment in Nyack. The victim was transported to a local hospital where it was determined that he had a broken jaw—it had to be wired.
