Central Avenue Among Reopened Roads in Orangetown
The Orangetown Highway Department is reporting two roads in Orangetown still closed -- Convent Road in Blauvelt and North Serven Street in Pearl River
The list of closed roads in Orangetown continues to dwindle.
The Orangetown Highway Department is listing only two roads in town as closed. Convent Road in Blauvelt is listed as assigned to Orange & Rockland for "total repair" from major damage done during the snow storm Oct. 29. The higway department's list includes roads maintained by the town and those maintained by other agencies, such as Rockland County.
North Serven Street in Pearl River was closed as of 2 p.m. Thursday, also pending work to clear the road by O&R. Once O&R deals with power lines, the Orangetown Highway Department completes the work necessary to reopen the road.

Central Avenue in Pearl River, closed much of Wednesday due to an accident Tuesday night, reopened Thursday.
