Orangetown Cleanup Day

There will be a tree planting and community cleanup event at Orangetown Town Hall from 9 .m. to noon Saturday, April 14.

Fresh trash bags, litter grabber tools, bagels and juice/coffee will be available for volunteers. Bring gloves and a shovel. Volunteers will be assigned a cleanup location.

The tree planting ceremony for Arbor Day will be at 10 a.m. at town hall.

Saturday's event is co-sponsored by the Orangetown Highway Department, Parks Department and volunteers serving on the Orangetown Shade Tree Commission.
