Nancy Low-Hogan Begins District 17 County Legislature Position (VIDEO)

Low-Hogan takes over for Legislator Connie Coker for the District 9 seat on the County Legislature

Patch caught up with former Orangetown Town Councilwoman Low-Hogan before the Orangetown Reorganizational meeting Tuesday to discuss her new role representing District 17 in the Rockland County Legislature.

Low-Hogan addressed the challenges facing the county legislature, the budget process, the differences between the town board and the county legislature and taking the seat that had been held by Connie Coker. Her responses are in the attached videos.

All 17 seats on the Rockland County Legislature were up for reelection this past November. All 17 members of the county legislature will be during Wednesday's organizational meeting  at 7 p.m. Low-Hogan, a Democrat from Nyack, is one of them. The other three are:
