Pearl River Goes Hunting for Easter Eggs (VIDEO)

Children charged onto Central Avenue Field in Pearl River to scoop up their share of 5,000 Easter Eggs filled with candy Sunday.

Volunteers put out 5,000 eggs with candy inside for the annual Pearl River Easter Egg Hunt.

In less than two minutes, they were gone into the hands and baskets of the large group of children who came to collect them.

The Orangetown Police Department oversaw the event, which is sponsored by the Pearl River Chamber of Commerce and the law office of Orangetown Councilman Tom Diviny.
