Rockland County And Town Government Holiday Schedules

Local Libraries split between closed all day and closing early today, government offices open for the day

 

Rockland County government offices are open today and closed Christmas Day, Tuesday, Dec. 25. They are open on Monday, Dec. 31 and closed New Years Day, Jan. 1, 2013. 

Clarkstown Town Hall is open today and closed Tuesday, Dec. 25. It is open Monday, Dec. 31 and closed Tuesday, Jan.1, 2013, New Year’s Day.  

Orangetown Town Hall is closed Tuesday, Dec. 25, Wednesday, Dec. 26 and Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013.

Nyack Village Hall will close at 12:30 p.m. today and Monday, Dec. 31. It will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 25 and Jan. 1, 2013. 

In Clarkstown, garbage and recycling will not be collected on December 25 and January 1.  Routes scheduled for garbage collection on the 25th will have refuse picked up on Friday, Dec. 28.  There will not be recycling pickup on the 25th; it will be collected on Saturday, Dec. 29. Recycling collection for Tuesday, December 25 will take place on Saturday, December 29.  

Recycling collection for Tuesday, Jan. 1 will be picked up on Tuesday, Jan. 8 and garbage collection scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 1 will be picked up on Friday, Jan. 4. 

The New City Library is open today and Monday, Dec. 31 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is close on Tuesday, Dec. 25 and Jan. 1, 2013.  The Nanuet Library closes at 1 p.m. today and Monday, Dec. 31. It is closed on Tuesday, Dec. 25 and Jan. 1, 2013.

The Pearl River Library is closed today, Dec. 24 and Tuesday, Dec. 25. It is also closed on Monday, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1, 2013. The Nyack Library closes today and Monday, Dec. 31 at 1:30 p.m.  It is closed on Tuesday, Dec. 25 and Jan. 1, 2013.
