Save the Date: Orangetown Highway Department Kicks Off National Public Works Week

The Orangetown Highway Department will hold its 18th annual Open House to kick off National Public Works Week 2014. 

It's a great chance for kids to learn about all the work that goes into keeping the community clean, functioning and safe. Plus the first 50 kids get “Highway Helper” T-shirts.

Where: Orangetown Highway Department, 119 Route 303, Orangeburg, NY
When: 10AM-noon May 17
What: Residents and their families are invited to come tour the facility, witness equipment demonstrations, meet Highway Department
representatives, and learn more about the operation of the Orangetown Highway Department. 
 
Special guests will include representatives from Orangetown Police Department, Rockland County Sheriff’s Department, Organic Recycling Inc., Keep Rockland Beautiful, Inc., and Rockland County Solid Waste Management Authority who will be available to answer questions about the functions of their organizations.
