With the holidays and the weekend overlapping this year, not many places are open for business in the coming days.

Here's your guide to what's open, what's closed and when things will be back to normal:

Schools

  • Pearl River Schools are closed for winter recess and reopen Tuesday, Jan. 3.
  • South Orangetown Schools are closed for winter recess and reopen Tuesday, Jan. 3.

Libraries

  • New City Library closes again at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31 and reopens Tuesday, Jan. 3 at 9 a.m.
  • Nanuet Library closes Saturday, Dec. 31 and reopens Tuesday, Jan. 3.
  • Nyack Library closes at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31 and reopens Tuesday, Jan. 3.
  • Piermont Library is closes Saturday, Dec. 31 and reopens Tuesday, Jan. 3.
  • Pearl River Library closes Saturday, Dec. 31 and reopens Tuesday, Jan. 3.

Government

  • Clarkstown Town Hall is closed Monday, Jan. 2.
  • Orangetown Town Hall is closed Monday, Jan. 2.
  • Nyack Village Hall is closed Monday, Jan. 2.
  • Rockland County Offices are closed Monday, Jan. 2.

Transit

  • On Saturday, Dec. 31, all bus systems in Rockland will operate on normal Saturday schedules. [www.rocklandbus.com]
  • On Sunday, Jan. 1, all bus systems in Rockland will operate on normal Sunday schedules. [www.rocklandbus.com]
