Yesterday afternoon, Friday, I placed a lawn sign in support of Mr. Stewart. This morning it is missing. There have been no hurricanes, windstorms, or tornados in Pearl River to blow it away.

The neighborhood deer, groundhogs, squirrels, chipmunks and skunks cannot eat the metal prongs, as that would have remained in the ground as evidence.
Perhaps a python or boa constrictor snake released by a pet owner when it got too big digested the whole sign. However there were no indications of a struggle and there have been no reports in Pearl River Patch of such creatures gone wild in our hamlet of friendly people. I think that is unlikely however, just in case, look out for your small children, it does happen in Florida.

I replaced the sign, went shopping Saturday afternoon and upon return discovered the second sign has been removed! Driving about I noticed several Stewart election signs were damaged on Central Ave. and South Williams Street.
I replaced the sign Saturday late afternoon and went out for the evening. Upon return the sign was gone! The following Sunday late morning it appeared several feet away from the original location. Very odd, wouldn't you say?
