Pearl River School District’s Parent University will feature a panel of local experts will be presenting Dangerous Secrets: Risky Teen Behaviors Every Parent Should Know About.

The session starts at 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 28th, at Pearl River High School's Pirate Cove.

Many teens and pre-teens today are secretly responding to pressure in unhealthy ways. Hear from a panel of professionals who work with adolescents on how to recognize the signs of these dangerous secrets. Participants will also learn intervention and coping skills along with management tools and resources for support. The session is open to parents and other adults working with youth.

Panelists for this presentation are Dr. Alexa Gaydos, Psychologist, Hudson Valley Center for Cognitive Therapy, Arden Greenspan-Goldberg, LCSW, BCD, Author and Guest Speaker, Debbie Lee, LCSW, Director of Social Work at Rockland Children’s Psychiatric Center, and Ellen Morehouse, LCSW, CASAC, Executive Director of Student Assistance Services Corp.
