Pearl River Easter Egg Hunt

  • When/Where: Sunday March 24 at 1 p.m. on the Central Ave. Field in Pearl River
  • Why Go: Be sure to arrive early for this Easter Egg hunt, sponsored by the Pearl River Chamber of Commerce and the law offices of Orangetown Councilman Tom Diviny. They start promptly at 1 p.m. and it is all over very quickly. Volunteers arrive at 11 a.m. to place thousands of candy-filled eggs in the field, which is sectioned off by age group.

Girls Book Club

  • When/Where: Friday, March 22 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Pearl River Public Library
  • Why Go: Bring a book to share and discuss in this activity designed for girls in fourth and fifth grades.

Midnight Bowling

  • When/Where: Saturday night March 23rd at New City Bowl & Batting Cages at 9:30 pm - 11:30 pm
  • Why Go: Moonlight Bowling Fundraiser this Saturday night to support and raise funds for the Hudson Valley Council Boy Scouts. With a donation of $22 you get 2 games of bowling, rental shoes, prizes, dessert and a tricky tray

Family Movie Night

  • When/Where: 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Mar 22 at the Nanuet Library
  • Why Go: The movie “Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs” will be shown on the big screen. Bring blankets, pillows and anything that makes you comfortable. Snacks will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. Parents must accompany and stay with children during the movie. Library closes at 5 pm on Fridays, we will open the doors for Movie Night at 6:15 pm. No other library services will be available

  • When/Where: 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Mar 26 at the Nanuet Library
  • Why Go: The movie “Homeward Bound” will be shown on the big screen. Bring blankets, pillows and anything that makes you comfortable. Snacks will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. Parents must accompany and stay with children during the movie.

Arts & Craft Make & Take

  • Why Go: AC Moore has free a Arts & Craft activity this Saturday. Stop by and make Fashion Angels Tapeffiti Easter Eggs.

Easter Musical “Believe”

  • When/Where: Sunday, March 24 and Good Friday, March 29 at 7 p.m./Gracepoint Gospel Fellowship, 384 New Hempstead Rd, New City
  • Why Go: Look through the eyes of the characters and experience the emotions of how Jesus affected them - the doubt that Thomas had to overcome - the heart of a mother watching the last week of her Son’s life - the political tensions of Pilate, and the control Caiphas exerted - imagine how John must have felt the morning he ran to the empty tomb and was greeted by angels. Also, Join us on Easter Sunday - Service Times - 8 a.m., 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Spin-a-thon to Benefit National MS Society

  • When/Where: Saturday, March 23 at 10:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 12:15 p.m./New York Sports Club 20 W Ramapo Rd, Garnerville
  • Why Go: Join us for 1 or 2 hours of spin. 100% of proceeds will be donated to NMSS. Space is limited. 10:15 a.m. class is already full but bikes in the 11:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. classes are still available.  Non- NYSC members welcome!

Acrobat Class at Bounce!

  • When/Where: Saturday, March 23 at 6 pm at Bounce! Trampoline Sports, 612 Corporate Way, Valley Cottage, NY
  • Why Go: Adults and kids can learn acrobat skills at Bounce! Trampoline Sports. Bounce! now offers a chance for anyone to try flips and twists thanks to the new harness installed at the foam pit. Head trainer Victor Byrne works with all ages on this fun apparatus, teaching beginners through advanced. Class times vary, so call 845-268-4000 for information and to reserve a spot in the class.

Full-Length Mock SAT

  • When/Where: Sunday, March 24 at 12 pm at Practice Perfect at 2 N Broadway, Nyack
  • Why Go: Practice Perfect is running full-lengh, mock SAT tests Sundays at 12 P.M.
  • Cost/Contact: Current students can sit for the exam for free, and a detailed diagnostic report can be obtained for a nominal $20 processing fee. For non-students the test and diagnostic score report is $50. If interested, please RSVP by contacting Practice Perfect through their website.
