Honoring D.A.R.E Program Graduates at Pearl River Middle

Pearl River Middle School held a graduation for its D.A.R.E. Program Friday. The program, which is run by the district and the Orangetown Police Department, educates fifth graders about the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse.

Local police and government officials joined in as Pearl River Middle School honored its D.A.R.E. Program graduates Friday. The Orangetown Police Department and the Pearl River School District run the program to  educate fifth graders about the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse.

Pearl River Superintendent of Schools Dr. Frank Auriemma also spoke about bullying at the graduation.
