Last Chance: Pearl River School Board Candidates, Deja Vu Prom

Each week, Pearl River Patch will remind you of upcoming deadlines that could have an impact on your life in our new Last Chance feature. 

Upcoming important deadlines include:

• Two seats board of education seats are up for election this year, the ones currently held by Bruce Bond and Jackie Curtiss. Both have announced that they plan to run. Petitions to be placed on the ballot the election must have at least 37 signatures. They are due to District Clerk Mary Flanagan by 5 p.m. April 16. The 16th is also the deadline for citizen-initated items to be placed on the ballot, which require 93 signatures of voters in the district. Blank petitions are available at the adminstration building at 135 West Crooked Hill Road. For more information, email Flanagan at flanaganm@pearlriver.org.
• Registration for the Deja Vu Pearl River Senior Citizens Prom are due April 13. The form can be found here. For more information, contact Diana Musich at (845) 620-3932 or musichd@pearlriver.org
• Luigi O'Grady's is asking that catering orders for Easter Sunday be in by this Friday afternoon.
