Last Chance: Pearl River School District Ballot, Deja Vu Prom

Our new 'Last Chance' feature lets you know about important upcoming deadlines.

Each week, Pearl River Patch will remind you of upcoming deadlines that could have an impact on your life in our new Last Chance feature. 

Upcoming important deadlines include:

  • Two seats board of education seats are up for election this year, the ones currently held by Bruce Bond and Jackie Curtiss, both of whom intend to run again. Patrice Carrieri has already turned in enough signatures to be on the ballot. Petitions to be placed on the ballot the election must have at least 37 signatures. Potential candidates must turn in their petitions to District Clerk Mary Flanagan by 5 p.m. April 16. The 16th is also the deadline for citizen-initated items to be placed on the ballot, which require 93 signatures of voters in the district. Blank petitions are available at the adminstration building at 135 West Crooked Hill Road. For more information, email Flanagan at flanaganm@pearlriver.org.
