Parents, Community Readers Join in Rockland Read-In at Lincoln Avenue Elementary

Patch stopped by Lincoln Avenue Elementary for the to take part in the Rockland Read-In and the Parents As Reading Partners program.

Lincoln Avenue Elementary School in Pearl River invited parents and other members of the community to come in to read to students as part of the Parents As Reading Partner's program and the Rockland Read-In Friday.

Pearl River Patch Editor Ryan Buncher had the pleasure of reading One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish by Dr. Seuss to Margaret Lynch's Kindergarten Class, which he may have enjoyed even more than the children did.

Most schools in the county will take part in the Rockland Read-In Feb. 18, but Lincoln Avenue and Evans Park Elementary both had their day Feb. 11.
