Pearl River Boys Compete in Taco Bell Track Invite

Part of the Pearl River boys track and field team competed in the 19th Annual Taco Bell Track & Field Classic at Spring Valley High School in Columbia, S.C. Friday and Saturday.

The Pearl River boys 4X100 Relay accounted for the Pirates' top finish at the 19th Annual Taco Bell Track & Field Classic April 8 and 9 at Spring Valley High School in Columbia, S.C.

The team of juniors Tom Bonaro, Kieran Brennan and Stephen McNiff and senior Chris Kondracki finished ninth in the 4X800 in a time of 8:17.44 in an event that draws over 100 schools from all over.

Seniors Chris Spadaccini and Francis DePinto tied for 12th in the pole vaule with a height of 13 feet. Junior Hans Lueders finished 15th in the triple jump and senior Tommy Lappas was 24th in the 3200 run.

Part of the Pearl River boys track and field team and the girls team stayed in the area to compete in the Nanuet Relays Saturday.
