Pearl River Girls Lacrosse Holds Off Mamaroneck Rally

The Pearl River girls lacrosse team remained undefeated with a 15-12 victory over Mamaroneck Monday.

The Pearl River girls lacrosse team saw their seven-goal advantage dwindle to one during the second half of Monday's contest at Pearl River, but the Pirates found a way to stop the rally.

"The best thing about today was we didn't get down on ourselves when Mamaroneck started to come back," Pearl River coach Laurie Mayernik said. "We just settled down and got the job done."
