Pearl River High School, Middle School, Lincoln Ave. Elementary Open Tuesday

Pearl River High School, Pearl River Middle School and Lincoln Avenue Elementary School reopend Tuesday after being closed along with the rest of the district Monday.

The Pearl River School District announced Monday afternoon that the high school and middle school had power and would be open. The decision to reopen Lincoln Avenue Elmentary was announced at approximately 5:46 a.m.

Evans Park and Franklin Avenue Elementary Schools remained closed Tuesday. The district will update the public later in the day about the status of those schools for Wednesday.

Pearl River High School seniors will be allowed to wear their Halloween costumes to school Tuesday for their parade and pizza party. No decision has been made regarding Halloween parties and parades at the elementary schools.
