Pearl River High School's Smokey Joe's Cafe Performances Start Thursday

The Pearl River High School Class of 2014 will perform Smokey Joe's Cafe: The Songs of Lieber and Stoller Thursday through Friday in the high school auditorium.

The show, nominated for five Tony Awards in 1995 and winner of the Grammy for Best Musical Show Album in 1996, features songs by Jerry Lieber and Mike Stoller.  Over 100 students in the Pearl River Class of '14 will perform songs including "Jailhouse Rock," "Fools Fall in Love," "Hound Dog" and "Love Potion No. 9."

They will put on a free preview performance for Pearl River senior citizens at 3:30 p.m. Thursday. The regular performances are 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Tickets for Friday and Saturday will be available at the door for $10.
