Pearl River PTSA Announces Comedy Night

The Pearl River High School PTSA's annual Comedy Night fundraiser is scheduled for March 7 at Rockleigh Country Club in New Jersey.

The Pearl River High School Parent Teacher Student Association announced that this year's Comedy Night fundraiser is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. March 7 at Rockleigh Country Club in Rockleigh, NJ.

Money raised goes to pay for senior awards and programs for all Pearl River High School students. 

Tickets cost $70, which includes food, beer, wine, soda and the comedy show. Group rates, which are $60 per person for 10 or more, are on sale through Feb. 28. 

"It's a great night out," said Pearl River Board of Education Member Tom DePrisco at Wednesday night's meeting. "I encourage anyone who needs a laugh to go."

Changes for this year include open seating and a costume jewelry maker who will be creating on site. There is also a Chinesauction for 100 prize baskets. Student art will be on sale.
