Pearl River School Board Considers Personnel Matters, Insurance Plan

Tuesday's Pearl River Board of Education meeting agenda also includes the reading of board policies and participation in the New York State Public Employee and Retiree Long Term Care Insurance Plan.

The Pearl River School District will begin Tuesday's school board meeting with a moment of silence in memory of the victims of the September 11 terrorist attacks. 

The full agenda for the meeting is attached to this report, including the text of the board policies that will have a first reading, primarily revisions and reviews of existing procedures. The board will consider a resolution to participate in the New York State Employee and Retiree Long Term Care Insurance Plan.

Personnel items include the appointment of Megan Johnston as special education teacher and three full-time leave replacements  -- Kimberly Camargo in special education, Meghan Vian in English and Ellis Younger in ESL. The board will also review extra-curricular and intramural activitie appointments.
