The 2014-15 Pearl River School District budget will go to the voters May 20, but the process is already underway.
Pearl River Director of Operations Quinton Van Wynen will present an overview of the 2014-15 budget at the board of education meeting 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the district administration building on Crooked Hill Road in Pearl River. The meeting was rescheduled for Thursday due to Tuesday's inclement weather.

Other items on the agenda include:
- Approval of the 2014-15 Pearl River School District calendar.
- Pearl River High School art student presentation of the Empty Bowls project by students Jessica Doorley, Dillon Markowitz and Anne McBride and teacher Andrea Della Cava.
- Personnel recommendations, which will likely include the board of education taking action on the pending retirement of Superintendent of Schools Dr. John Morgano.
