The Pearl River School District sent out an announcement at 7:46 this morning that schools are closed for the day.
The district had been on a two-hour delay schedule, but conditions were still an issue and there are a number of accidents on local roads.
South Orangetown and Clarkstown Schools also made the change from two-hour delays to closing.
