The last Pearl River Board of Education meeting Jan. 22 drew a large crowd.
Tonight's meeting, set for 7:30 p.m. at the district administation building, may have fewer people, but at least part of it could still be very loud.
A group of Lincoln Avenue Elementary School Students will demonstrate their skills playing percussion music on ORFF instruments, which are used as teaching tools.
Teacher Scott Lewis and students Victoria Clark, Kevin Gunney, Ashley Harrington, Anna Harddy, Jackson Lawson, Ava Raffa, Jack Scanlon and Nicole Wertz are scheduled to make the presentation.
The full agenda for tonight's meeting can be found on the district website here. Much of the crowd Jan. 22 came for a 2013-14 budget presentation. There budget process is ongoing, but there is no public presentation about the subject listed on tonight's agenda.
The agenda does include the 2013 District Wide Safety Plan, which can be found here. There is also a resolution to update the language in the retirement incentive the board approved Jan. 8.
