Pearl River Volleyball, Field Hockey, Boys Soccer Playoff Pairings Set

The Section 1 playoff pairings for boys soccer, field hockey and volleyball were set Wednesday.

The Pearl River boys soccer and volleyball teams will open the Section 1 playoffs Friday, with the field hockey team starting Saturday.

The game time has not been set for the boys soccer team, the No. 2 seed in Class A, which will play at home Friday against the winner of Thursday's outbracket game between Walter Panas and Ardsley.

The Pearl River volleyball team is the No. 12 seed and will play 4:30 p.m. Friday at JFK.

The Pirates are the No. 7 seed in Field Hockey and will play 11 a.m. Saturday at home against Walter Panas.

The Section 1 girls soccer playoff meeting is scheduled for Thursday morning.
