With the Pearl River School District holding its annual budget and board of education vote today, what issues do you think the district must address?
Voters will either approve or deny the 2011-12 Pearl River School District budget today. Voting began 7 a.m. this morning and the polls will remain open at Pirate Cove in Pearl River High School until 9 p.m.
Regardless of the outcome of today's voting, the district will enter next year with a new superintendent of schools, with Dr. John Morgano taking over for Dr. Frank Auriemma, but with the current board of education intact. Incumbent Thomas DePrisco is the only name on the ballot today for the open school board position.
