“Zumba is a dance fitness workout that fuses Latin and international rhythms,” Papageorgiou said. “When you participate in a Zumba class, you don’t even feel like you’re working out.”

Wednesday’s class is suitable for several ages. According to Papageorgiou, most participants will be adults, but there will be also be middle school and high school students participating.

Papageorgiou held a similar event this past summer.

“I learned a lot about SEPTA when I moved to Pearl River and enjoy raising money for good causes,” she said.
