Balanced Pearl River Boys Basketball Beats Rye Neck

Four players scored in double figures for Pearl River in a 64-60 victory at home against Rye Neck Saturday.

Kevin Degnan led the Pirates with 16 points. James Linnane and Jack McKeever each had 11 and Chris Flood scored 10 for Pearl River (10-4). Point guard Thomas Armour scored six of his nine points in the fourth quarter. 

McKeever, a reserve guard, made back-to-back 3-point shots during a third-quarter run that gave the Pirates a 10-point lead after three quarters. McKeever and Flood each made three 3-pointers.

Matt Franks led Rye Neck with a game-high 25 points. 

Pearl River's next game is 7 p.m. Friday at home against Albertus Magnus.
