Bonaro Takes Fourth at State Track Meet
Four Pearl River athletes competed in the NYSPHSAA state track and field championships Saturday at Cornell.
Tom Bonaro took fourth place in the 600 meter run, the top finish by a Pearl River athlete Saturday in the NYSPHSAA State Track and Field Championships at Cornell University's Barton Hall.
Bonaro ran the 600 in 1:21.96. Strymear Livingston of Columbus won the race in 1:20.02.
Pearl River's Kieran Brennan finished sixth in the 100 meter run with a time fo 2:32.23. Winner Zavon Watkins of Liverpool finished in 2:27.91.

Pearl River placed two runners in the girls 1500 meter race walk. Sophomore Meghan Keetley took seventh place with at ime of 7:23.17 and senior Caitlin Lardaro ran the race in 7:44.23, putting her in 12th place.
