Daily Sports Digest: Pearl River 10-11 All-Stars To Play For Spot In Semifinals

The Pearl River Little League 10-11 all-stars will play West Nyack tonight for a spot in the semifinals of the District 18 tournament.
They play at 8 p.m. at Cesca Field in West Nyack. The winner will play the winner of tonight’s Congers-Stony Point game. The loser won’t be eliminated, though, as neither team has lost a game yet. The loser will drop down to the loser’s bracket, but will still have a chance to win the tournament.
Kimura Shukokai International World Tournament Begins Today
A group of 27 students from the Mac Albus Shukokai Karate Center begin competition at the Kimura Shukokai World Tournament today at the Taj Mahal Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City.
