Falcons' Sayre Needs Nine to Break School Record, Four Pirate Wrestlers Advance

Five Pearl River wrestlers finished in the top four in their class at Divisions Saturday, advancing to the Section 1 tournament this weekend.

Last month, Albertus Magnus senior forward Tyler Sayre eclipsed the 1.000 point mark in a 65-57 . Now that the is over and the regular season is dwindling down the Falcon forward has his opportunity to steal the headlines.

Duvert scored 1,066 career points from 1991-94. According to Albertus Magnus Athletic Director Joe McGuinness, Sayre enters today's game with 1,058 points.

The Falcons hosted Spring Valley in early January and Sayre picked up 26 points as Albertus Magnus won 58-49.
